Our Country's 41st President
GEORGE H. W. BUSH was the 41st President of the United States. He served our country in that capacity from 1989 to 1993. The site where all of his presidential records and official papers are preserved is at the George Bush Library and Museum, located on the campus of Texas A and M University in College Station, Texas.
And, what a place it is! Recently, my wife and I had the opportunity to visit these facilities and grounds. To say the least: we were very impressed.
There are 14 presidential libraries and museums scattered across the country. This one was the 11th for me to visit; the 10th for my wife. We both agreed that this one was among the finest.
Regardless of political preferences, or whether or not a person voted for a particular president, all presidential libraries and museums are interesting and enjoyable places to visit. Keep in mind, they all represent a certain time frame in our nation's history.
It is with pleasure that I recommend the George Bush Library and Museum as an excellent leisure destination. Enjoy the snapshots!
