Various colleges, universities, and organizations with recreation departments across the nation offer creative learning experiences for adults of all ages. Programs are specifically designed to meet individual needs by expanding horizons through fun and challenging classes and activities; by providing opportunities to meet new people; and, by encouraging a "stay active" lifestyle.

Listen for announcements on local radio and television; watch for advertisements in local newspapers; and, look for booklets, brochures, or fliers distributed in your community. Providers of these programs are very desirous of sharing their information with as wide an audience as possible.

Taking advantage of opportunities to expand horizons, meet new people, and stay active all have benefits - now and for the future. In addition, leisure learning for adults is just, simply put, worlds of fun!
